About the event
Dear Sensei, Officials, Members, and Parents:
TSKF/ISKF Australia are pleased to host the 13th TSKFA/ISKF National Championships to be held on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland for the very first time.
The decision to host this event in a totally new City and venue did not come lightly, and we hope that the change will entice more members and families to make the effort to attend the week which promises fantastic training under our Chief Instructor Takahashi Shihan, ably
assisted by Hirata Sensei, Nemoto Sensei and Tobita Sensei.
Earlier this year at the Dojo Head Meeting in Perth, I announced that we are hoping to have 250 trainees at this event and 200 competitors. Currently Queensland has the most members registered in our Association, and we hope that having the Nationals in a centrally positioned, holiday destination will assist in boosting our
Nationals attendance which have been lacking in 2025.
The dedication and pride that athletes, coaches, and officials have in preparing and participating in competition and the camaraderie it brings is always a part of our National Championships.
